Biography

Dr. Carter is a specialist in family medicine. He provides comprehensive primary care to individuals and families of all ages. He has professional interests in patient education, patient centered medical home, and electronic health information technology.

Dr. Carter is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a 1990 graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency training in 1993 at Providence Hospital in Southfield.

Dr. Carter is on the medical staff at Providence Hospital and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
