Biography
Dr. Steinberger specializes in internal medicine, the care of men and women from young adulthood through senior years. His focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of acute medical problems, the management of long term medical conditions, and promoting good general health. He holds an advanced certification in geriatrics. He has a special interest in electronic health information technology.
Dr. Steinberger is the Associate Program Director for the new Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan. Beginning in July, 2010 he will take part in the education of the next generation of internal medicine physicians.
He is a member of the medical staff at Providence and St. Mary Mercy Hospitals. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency training at Sinai Hospital of Detroit.
