Biography

Dr. Balon is a graduate of Wayne State University School of Medicine, and completed his residency training in family medicine at Providence Hospital.

Dr. Balon was a graduate research biochemist prior to medical school. He has held various administrative positions including Medical Director of a local physician organization.

He has special interest in medical missions and speaks around the state on the topic of "Implementing Best Practices in Health Information Technology".

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Michigan State Medical Society.
